WOW, what a whirlwind journey it’s been over these last ten years! We want to say a big thank you to all our customers, partners and staff. For recognising the potential in our technology and the team, and for coming with us along the way. We’ve made some great connections (and friendships) in the industry.
You may have seen our social media over the last couple of months celebrating this first decade in lighting and what makes INDO tick. When we look back over what’s been achieved (check out the timeline below) we feel even more proud of our success and all the passionate, highly driven people that have helped make that happen
Our decade in numbers:
- 107,421 INDO Direct Drive® units installed across the UK and counting…
- £5 Million saved off customers’ energy bills
- £3 Million in additional maintenance savings delivered by Direct Drive®
- Over 1,500 square metres of UK manufacturing, production and warehouse space, with plans for new premises on the horizon
- Continuous improvement in commercial performance over the past 5 years, with turnover doubling in the last 12 months
From a starting point, back in 2007, of designing and manufacturing bespoke street lighting products for local authorities in London, addressing the customer’s every challenge … to ten years later, INDO continues to operate with these same values at our core

So what’s ahead?
Just last week Team INDO have been at IPM Essen, the world’s leading horticulture fair, presenting the Direct Drive® INDO Element, our first horticultural grow light.
Since the new year, we’ve launched the CHANCERY fitting to our website, a Direct Drive® heritage luminaire with the full range of INDO optics, suitable for a wide variety of applications.
The INDO catalogue is expanding, and so is the INDO team. We’re now hiring for new UK Account Managers, individuals capable of strengthening our market coverage – and able to delivering the excellent customer service that has become synonymous with the INDO brand.
