INDO Coronavirus Update – PeRSo PAPR

INDO is proud to be working on behalf of Baynhams on the design and manufacture of PeRSo.

PeRSo is a powered air-purifying respirator developed in collaboration with the University of Southampton and with the support of University Hospital Southampton. PeRSo is a pioneering new type of PPE which will protect the lives of front-line NHS staff treating patients during Covid-19.

As we all adjusted to the Covid-19 restrictions, INDO took the decision to pause production to ensure the safety and security of our team. The reduction in demand for street lighting products allowed us to focus on the immediate demand for PPE. However, we are very pleased this week to be back in the factory manufacturing our core range of lighting products to service customer orders. We are working with reduced support staff and thank you for your patience, we aim to respond to all enquiries as quickly as possible.

We appreciate we are all facing unprecedented times and want to let you know that we are here to support all INDO customers existing and new. Our warehouse is stocked with standard product lines available immediately and we are working closely with our supply chain to ensure we can service all product specifications with as short a lead time as possible. There may be some delay on particular component parts and this will be communicated with all customers before orders are confirmed.

Many of our customers are facing their own difficulties with supply and reduction in usual resource levels. All customers with open orders with INDO will be contacted before goods are dispatched and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.
