Using INDO Direct Drive® technology, the INDO AIR range is well established in the exterior lighting market; known for its market-leading reliability and long life. AIR1 was the first-ever streetlight designed to function without a driver, resulting in substantial capital, whole-life cost and maintenance savings. The pioneering innovation mitigates against long term risk for highway workers and lowers environmental impact by removing the need to replace and waste wear-out components throughout a scheme’s lifetime.
To bring AIR1 into line with its higher-powered variants, we have now streamlined the offering, bringing together all the features of the original AIR1, AIR1+ and AIR1 DALI specifications into one single module, (the OPUS2). Using all new CSP LED technology, OPUS2 offers improved reliability and lm/W efficiency, as well as boosted surge protection and a better glare rating, ideal for the residential type applications where AIR1 performs so well.
The unique casting (with no moving parts, clips, lids or hinges) is constructed from marine grade aluminium for effective thermal management and a highly robust luminaire structure. Despite its robustness though, the unit is extremely light at just 3.1kg and results in minimal column loading. Combined with the integrated PT or SE options as standard, AIR1 is easy to handle and install.
