Description
INDO AIR2 represents a shift-change in mid-power LED luminaires. Built on the success of AIR1, it boasts market-leading reliability and longevity using Direct Drive® technology with its superior performance benefits.
A suite of optical, power and lumen output options is available up to 24klm, suitable for 35W to 250W replacements. Being dimmable, AIR2 meets the requirements of many low wattage residential applications too. Direct Drive® allows the unit to be dimmed to 10% output while maintaining a power factor close to unity. A PIR Sensor option is available for applications that require adaptive lighting.
Our latest addition to the AIR2 lineup, the NAVIGATOR light engine, features cutting edge Chip Scale Package LED technology for improved efficacy, optical control and resilience. Versatile photometry is available for a range of high-performance street lighting applications. For sensitive projects where high-quality colour rendering, diffused light and long term consistency are a priority, the CHROMA light engine is our go-to specification.
Full CMS compatibility is achieved through DALI communication and reporting, in addition to having extended functionality through the user-defined commands. Programming of pre-set features is possible using INDO’s intuitive programming software.
Not only has INDO removed the industry’s weak link, the wear-out driver component, but also innovated to give customers even more value by removing the need for an often unreliable component – an external photocell. INDO’s tried and tested photosensor, (that has been in the market for many years onboard selected retrofit T5 and PL lamps), is built into AIR2 and AIR1+. This makes photocell changes a thing of the past with its design life matching that of the complete luminaire – 250,000 hours.

To Specify:
A cutting edge functional LED exterior luminaire addressing a range of residential, area, and road lighting applications. Suitable for mounting between 34mm-60mm side entry and 60mm-76mm post top as standard without brackets or adaptors. Optional tilt to be applied without the use of external brackets or spigots; with a mechanism integrated within the body of the luminaire. To be manufactured from LM6 Marine Grade aluminium, with a hinged lid to enable easy access to the gear compartment. Luminaire is to be reliable; with every effort made to reduce component count, and should not contain wet electrolytic capacitors. Luminaire should not require ongoing scheduled maintenance visits – the entire luminaire being suitable for operation to the chosen LxxByy period without any component changes. Luminaire is fully dimmable, and able to interface via NEMA; functioning fully with a range of Central Management Systems. Luminaire should have an included temperature sensor to provide dimming as necessary to protect against high ambient operating temperatures. A temperature dependent soft start feature should be deployed to protect against LED failures at low temperatures. An option should exist for a light sensor, separate from any PECU or NEMA cell, to protect against day burning in the event that a PECU or NEMA cell fails. Front, back and side shields should be available and suitable for mounting directly to the luminaire without additional drilling or tapping required on-site.
