INDO supplied the RD12 luminaire for the lighting scheme at Surrey Quays, in the London Borough of Southwark.
The RD12 is INDO’s contemporary post-top lantern: a Direct Drive driverless platform, IP66, DALI-dimmable, and CMS-ready. With no separate driver, the lantern carries one fewer mid-life failure point and one fewer scheduled maintenance task across its design life, which is a meaningful whole-life cost saving on borough-scale rollouts.
Surrey Quays sits inside the wider Canada Water regeneration on the Rotherhithe peninsula, an ongoing public-realm and placemaking programme delivering in phases since 2023. The RD12 fits the brief for that kind of mixed-use space: a low-glare post-top lantern that handles footpaths, residential streets, and the pedestrian routes between the new public squares.
