INDO supplied the RD12 luminaire for a parks upgrade scheme in Burgess Park, in the London Borough of Southwark.
The RD12 is INDO’s contemporary post-top lantern: a Direct Drive driverless platform with an IP66 rating, DALI-dimmable, and CMS-ready. The driverless architecture removes the highest single lifecycle failure point in conventional LED lighting and means no scheduled mid-life driver maintenance over the asset’s design life.
Burgess Park is one of South London’s larger urban parks, replanned in phases from 2012 onwards as part of Southwark’s wider revitalisation programme. The RD12’s optical control and even distribution suit the park’s mix of footpaths, pinch points, and cycle routes, and the lantern’s 76 mm spigot fits onto the existing column inventory.
